I am Professor Tetsuya Matsuo of the Department of Sports Wellness, College of Community and Human Services, Rikkyo University. I am a professor in the Department of Sports Wellness at Rikkyo University's College of Community and Human Services, majoring in sociology of sports and recreation. Nobuhiko Tanaka (Tokai University)

My name is Nobuhiko Tanaka. My specialty other than LR research is tourism, landscape architecture, forestry, etc. I specialize in nature-based-tourism.

Ritsuko Yamazaki(余暇問題研究所)

I am Ritsuko Yamazaki, President of Leisure Issues Research Institute, Inc. I graduated from Tokai University's Graduate School of Physical Education (Recreation) and established our company 38 years ago with my junior colleague, Sachi Ueno (Society Treasurer). Through recreation, we aim to help people from young children to the elderly live healthy and fulfilling lives. From the very beginning, we were very happy to have the late Dr. Kazutoshi Takahashi, Professor Emeritus of Tokai University, as our advisor. We have also written recreation education at universities and vocational schools, as well as technical books and books on programs needed in the nursing care field.

Kaoru Tsuchiya (Edogawa University)

I am Kaoru Tsuchiya. After studying at the University of Tsukuba and the graduate school of the University of Tsukuba, I have been working at the Department of Sociology, Aomori University since 1990 and at Edogawa University since 2005. After connecting Josef Pieper's theory of festivals and the discussion of sacred and secular leisure in sociology, I am thinking about the creation of a mechanism to realize leisure in various conditions of modern society, such as information technology and aging society.

Shin Takahashi(International Christian University)

 

 I am Shin Takahashi, Visiting Associate Professor at International Christian University, I retired in March 2018 but remain with the university. I was encountered to the recreation field when I was a university student and since then I have been involved in many practical studies of recreational leadership and organized camps for youth. I will continue my practical research on recreational activities in our old age. And I am looking forward to our first international conference hosted by the Society.

My name is Hiroko Murray. I have been involved in welfare for the elderly for many years in Shiga Prefecture. Currently, I have moved to the childcare sector and am the director of a nursery school. My specialty is therapeutic recreation. I am conducting research and practice based on the theme of "fun.

Shinichi Nagata(University of Tsukuba)

Hello everyone, my name is Dr. Shinichi Nagata of the University of Tsukuba's Department of Physical Education. My specialty is Therapeutic Recreation, and I received my Master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University and Ph. At the University of Tsukuba, I am involved in the Center for Physical Education, the Adapted Physical Education and Sport Laboratory, International Development of Sport (Master's Program), and Advanced University Physical Education and Sport (Doctoral Program). In recent years, I have been researching the theme of community participation for people with mental disabilities and how they can lead a more fulfilling life.

Satoshi Tsujimoto(Okinawa Churashima Foundation.)

I am Satoshi Tsujimoto of the Okinawa Churashima Foundation. I specialize in tree diseases and indoor greening through the management of trees in Ocean Expo Park. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Shuzo Ikeda(JACPA)

Works in Osaka area for Jacpa Co. In charge of western Japan area. I mainly teach physical education and sports at kindergartens, nursery schools, and children's schools. Our company will celebrate its 50th anniversary this February, and I will work to continue our 50-year history.

Koichi Koishi (IHYC-Lab)

I am the Director of the Educational Guidance Department at the International Institute for Early Childhood Health Design, an educational coach at the School of Human Sciences of Waseda University, and a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Waseda University. My specialties are childcare-related areas of "health," child health and welfare studies, and early childhood physical education. As for practical activities, I am focusing on children's exercise play in a group for outside play promotion. I am also a member of the Mozufuru Support Group for the Furuichi area of the World Heritage Site of "Mozu and Furuichi Tumulus Clusters". Best regards.

Masamitsu Futaesaku(Tokai University)

My name is Masamitsu Nijusaku and I belong to Tokai University. My specialty is tourism. My research theme is "Special Effects Tourism," which uses special effects as a tourism resource, and I also conduct research on tourism in other visual image genres, such as animation tourism and film tourism. In addition to her research activities, she is currently planning events in partnership with visual image companies.

Momoe Shimazaki(Tokai University)

I am Momoe Shimazaki from Tokai University. My specialty is sociology of sports (leisure education).My main research interests are "the effects of walking and outdoor activities in natural environments" and "the design and teaching methods of exercise, play, and sports programs for children and the elderly.Currently, he is involved in activities to revitalize local communities and to promote healthy mouth exercise classes to maintain the health of the elderly.
